Individual Member
This membership is open to professionals, academics, practitioners, and all individuals interested in the CIE field.
Student Member
Student membership is open to individuals currently enrolled in a college or university undergraduate or graduate program.
Emeritus Member
Emeritus status is open to individuals age 65 and older, who have held membership in the Society for the last 10+ years and are not full-time employees of a professional institution.
Honorary Fellow
Honorary Fellow status is granted to senior members who have received the CIES Honorary Fellows Award. This award recognizes life-long service and significant contribution to the field of CIE.
SIG Membership
You must be a member of CIES to join a Special Interest Group. Our SIG directory gives a complete list of the mission and work of our 37 Special Interest Groups.
Advocacy Groups
Three standing committees are also advocacy groups and offer membership to anyone who is interested in supporting their work. As a CIES member, you are eligible to join these groups at any time.
